Last time, I wondered whether I should write more about street photography.Â
The truth is that the initial essence of the www.adammazek.com website was photography. To be more precise, from the very beginning of blogging, I wanted to focus on street photography. Street photos I took are the essence of the graphic side of my blog. Still, I know that regarding writing, I rarely mention photography. I would say that street photography became the subplot of my website. Should I change it? I do not know. Usually, I write about what I want to read. The truth is that I do not watch and analyze the works of other street photographers. Ok, Eric Kim is an exception, but while surfing his website, I focus on the writing content rather than the visual one.Â
Undoubtedly, street photography is one of the most crucial parts of my hobby.
I wrote many times that as long as I can walk, I will take photos similar to what you see on this site. Why? Because I love walking. I cannot imagine living without it. Ok, only force majeure can prevent me from doing it. Why should I not take pictures of everything I see when I walk? After all, street photography is a symbolic and visual tribute to the world surrounding us. The truth is that while doing street photography, I am on the move. I go where I want to go. It is a moment when I feel free as a bird. While writing this text, words of one of the greatest songs ever appear in my mind (by The Beatles, “You Never Give Me Your Money”), and I hear Paul McCartney’s voice singing:
“Nowhere To Go”
Ok, I will finish this writing. I must go to sleep. Will I dream about street photography? I do not know.
