“Sir, aren’t you cold?”

I heard the title phrase “Sir, aren’t you cold?” while doing street photography on the 14th of January, 2023. It was a day when I wrote this text.

Who asked me the title question? Undoubtedly, a drunkard was sitting near the shop in Cieszynska Street, Mokotow district. I answered that the temperature was OK and that I was not cold. It was 7 degrees Celsius (44,6 degrees Fahrenheit). Still, a harsh, cold wind was blowing, and the sensed temperature was, undoubtedly, colder. I walked in the www.adammazek.com t-shirt, shorts, sneakers without gloves, and a winter cap. I admit that I had a euphoric state of mind throughout the whole 2 hours and 20 minutes of walking. I also made 14.000 footsteps. Do I have anything profound to write today, my Dear Friend?

I do not think so. I know that I am only a human, not a demigod.

Thus, not all my texts will be groundbreaking. Still, I believe in the process. Every piece of writing is another step to create something profound for my contemporaries and posterity. I hope to make it for as long as possible. Doing street photograhpy and writing somehow became my life’s aim. I do not know what about you, my Dear Friend, but I hope you also create something. While writing about all these things, I was reminded that during today’s photo walk, I heard another comment from a passer-by walking with the dog.

He said that he saw a “Nice view, Sir.”

He explained that, for him, a nice view was a person walking in summer clothes in the middle of January. The only I could say to him was to agree with him. Doing all these things, walking, taking photos, and exposing my body to cold generates endorphins in my body. I wish you, my Dear Friend, to find your way of releasing endorphins.
