On the 30th of November, 2021 (it was the day when I wrote this text), I woke up and realized that it had been six years since I started regularly doing street photography.
More precisely, frequent walkings on Warsaw’s streets and taking pictures started in October 2015. Is that mean that earlier I did not take photographs on the streets of Warsaw? Of course not. Still, since October 2015, I started doing it more consciously and systematically. Why more consciously? Because at the beginning of October 2015, I went for a photographic course on a basic level. During this course, I greatly enjoy walking in the streets and taking photos. That’s how I started to take regular photographs of my mundane surroundings. The best thing is that up till now, I still feel enthusiasm while thinking about walking and doing street photography. I am convinced that it is the beginning of my creative journey. I know that I won’t rest on my laurels after six years of doing street photography. How do I know it?
I know it because I cannot imagine my life without taking walks. Going further, I cannot imagine walking without taking pictures of what I see.
That’s why I feel that is the beginning of my lifelong project and adventure. Of course, if I have health issues that prevent me from walking, I won’t do it. Still, I hope that I will live longer than the European average, thanks to intermittent fasting and taking cold showers. My dream is to be artistically prolific until the end of my life. How happy I am that exposing my body to coldness by wearing summer clothes (including the www.adammazek.com t-shirt) increased my happiness’ level. That’s why I believe that the first six years of regularly doing street photography is only the beginning. The truth is that the more I do it, the more I want it. I hope that nothing stops me from achieving my plans.
