One of my previous posts, “The Tree,” I wrote that I could touch the branches of a tree while standing on my balcony.
In summer, in turn, I fall asleep in the bedroom with windows opened wide. While I am getting asleep and lying in my bed, I see trees and the sky. Sleeping in such scenery, with my beloved Kamila, is one of the cutest things whichever happened to me. I try to appreciate this fact as much as possible. Unfortunately, the sky over Warsaw is the sky “without stars.” There are no starry nights. City lights efficiently eclipse the sight of the stars to the citizens. Light pollution is unfortunately not only a problem of the Warsaw metropolis. This occurrence is becoming a big problem practically for all the big cities in the world. It is possible to observe a starry night in August in my lovely hometown, Brok.
Nevertheless, while lying and falling asleep in our (Kamila’s and mine) bed, I can calmly think of being aware that good old days are today.
I believe that it is pure luck to have someone with whom we can fall asleep and wake up in the morning while observing and hearing the rustle of the tree branches blowing in the wind.
Sleeping is one of the most crucial activities in our lives. Without it, we are nothing. Without a pleasant dream, we are not able to be active daily. I had never possessed a problem with my sleep. I never had insomnia. But, I know that an active and healthy dream is the most precious thing humans should possess. All the people living on this planet should maintain a right to a healthy, suitably long sleep. Ok. I am finishing this post. I will take a short (20 minutes) nap after writing it, and then I will go to work.
