It was August 2018. The night sky in Poland during that month is full of stars. During that time, we can observe a starry night.
Today, I will write that during one weekend, in August 2018, I came to my parents, who live in Brok. As I already mentioned, I like to do the workout. In general, I prefer to do in-house sport and stretch my muscles on the mat. That is the reason why I took a carpet from my beloved parents’ house and started to work out on the mat, in the fresh air. I did it at 10 pm. It was a period when there was an enormous heat, so also the nights were hot. When I laid down, I looked at the stars.
I saw the perfect starry night. The milky way was seen very clearly.
I started to wonder how lucky it was to observe the stars at night, especially in August, the month of shooting stars. People who live in cities all the time are too busy to analyze the sky. What is worse, they do not have the opportunity to do that. Light pollution is becoming big trouble for all the urban places, not only in Poland. The city dwellers rarely have the opportunity to look into the starry sky. Really, in my opinion, every person, at least once a year, should look at the bright, starry sky.
A few weeks later, I went with my lovely girlfriend, Kamila, to the Mazuria. Mazuria is the land of the lakes.
Luckily, we both had the opportunity to watch starry night. This time, it happened while we were sitting on the shore of the Goldap lake. Once again, we observed the night sky full of stars, including shooting stars or, additionally, the planet Mars. Such intimate moments are the most precious times of our lives, which bring us joy, relief, and true happiness.
In conclusion, my Dear Guest, if you did not have a chance to observe a starry night last summer, try to do it next August. If you do not know where to do it, I recommend Poland (in the lead with Brok, Mazuria, or Bieszczady).
