At the beginning of this, I will explain why I named this text “Success.”
In the second part of it, you will read a poem for the first time in the history of the www.adammazek.com website. I wrote the current text on the 9th of September, 2023. It was a day when I decided to publish another text written in the past but not published. What was the first text? It was the “Polish Tango.” The second post will be a poem I wrote on the 12th of February, 2018. Why did I not publish it earlier? Perhaps it was because I did not feel well with that. I may not have had enough self-esteem. Does it mean I have it today?
In terms of publishing my poem written in the English language, I undoubtedly have it.
Still, I consider it in terms of success that I decided to post my poem from the past. Do I have more of my poems written in Polish or English? No, I do not have it. It was a momentary brief of inspiration, I would say. Do I expect many interpretations of my work? No, I do not expect anything like that. I must admit I do not remember my feelings while writing the “Success” poem. Perhaps I just decided to write it and started doing it. Do I plan to write poetry in the future? Only when incentives will come to my mind. Ok, I will stop writing. Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy Adam Mazek’s “Success” poem:
