I wrote this text on the 17th of September, 2025. It was a day when I realized that summer 2025 is slowly ending.
The truth is that the weather today was windy, and it was only 18 degrees Celsius (64 degrees Fahrenheit). When I was returning from my office job (please remember, my Dear Friend, I work in a broadly defined Finance), while doing street photography and rucking (I had on my back and shoulders “only” 30 kg [66 lbs], as I do not carry the heaviest possible for me weights), I noticed I was not sweating as much as during the last three months. The truth is that Summer 2025 was not as hot as in the previous years. Still, there were hot days when I was rucking with the biggest weight I’ve ever managed to carry – 37.5 kg (83 lbs).
During those days, I was sweating like hell.
I was literally wet from head to toe. But amidst the sweat and the heat, there were also moments of joy and accomplishment. Today, when I was walking, I felt a chilly wind blowing into my face. Of course, I was sweating, but it was a much smaller amount of sweat than before. Am I repeating myself? Perhaps I am. Still, I am simply tired. The only thing I know is that not only will the temperatures be lower during the upcoming months, but also the days will be shorter in Poland.
This means I will be doing street photography less frequently compared to the previous months.
Am I sad? Yes, but only a little bit. All these things mean I will be exposing my body to cold by walking in summer clothes (including the www.adammazek.com t-shirt) in frigid temperatures. It will be the fourth season I will be doing it (I started doing it in the Fall/Winter season 2021/2022). All these things make me realize I am happy that summer 2025 is slowly ending.
