In this post, I won’t reinvent the wheel. Still, last time I convinced myself, for not the first time in my life, that rest is crucial regarding our whole existence.
The truth is that I have better, fresher thoughts when I am rested. It’s in my best interest to get enough sleep. It is not a ploy to get yourself repeatedly with new responsibilities and new duties. The trick is to rest skillfully, effectively, and healthily. Last time I noticed that I did not write as efficiently as before. I wrote this post on the 28th of August, 2021. A few days before that day, the writing process was, for me, a little bit more complicated than, e.g., one week earlier. I do not doubt that it happened because I was sleeping less. That’s why I wrote in one of the previous posts that I did not know about what I wanted to write. I merely had no concept. The lack of idea was because I wasn’t resting enough to be in optimal physical and mental shape.
Often it is much better to sleep earlier or take a nap than to force oneself to do something.
We should always try to hear what our organisms are telling us. Undoubtedly, if we are sleepy during the day, we should consider taking a nap. During such moments, while feeling asleep during, e.g., the evening, I must remember to sleep as fast as possible. It is in my interest to do it. I think that taking more and more responsibilities and hard work all day every day is something we all can do, every man that walks on this planet. The trick is to take a rest properly. Thanks to it, undoubtedly, we can live longer. Ok, I finish writing. I must sleep right now.
