Last time, while reading Taschen books, one idea came up to my mind. I discovered that I could design a book about my artistic activity.
I love to read. Since mid of 2017, I am focusing only on Taschen books, which I buy almost compulsively. When I read about the artistic legacy of such artists like Caravaggio, Hieronymus Bosch, Hiroshige, Claude Monet, Salvador Dali, M.C. Escher, or Stanley Kubrick, I possess a neverending willingness to design my book.
Taschen’s books about geniuses mentioned above are the ones that remarkably inspire me.
For today, I see my book as a black and white album. I see it as a book where my pictures will be mixed with my short texts. Or, I see it as a duplication of some of my best posts on the paper.
Whatever way I choose, I hope that I will someday manage to design and publish an album about my art. Do I possess the proper abilities to create such a book? The answer is clear: no. I own economic education. My biggest passion is photography, reading, writing, and doing sports. I did not have time earlier to design the book. For now, I only know that probably the best software to do this is the InDesign program.
Nevertheless, I am convinced that I must design and publish my album.
Moreover, I see this project as a giving to the Taschen publishing house. My album would be an almost ready-to-made prescription to publishing the book about Adam Mazek. I merely hope that Taschen will also release an album about my artistic activity in the future. I believe that it will happen a long time after my death.
Did I get crazy? Probably yes. But, I already wrote in one of my posts that I love to dream aloud. This website is a place where I do that. I hope that my thoughts and texts will become immortal. I hope that it will happen in the same way as Taschen’s books remain a source of art knowledge for long, long years for subsequent generations.
How do I plan to find time for designing a book? I do not know yet. I wouldn’t say I like deadlines. For today, my primary artistic activity is to remain a photographer.
