The Art of Relaxation

Every one of us has its favorite ways of relaxation.

The right to relax is one of the fundamental, indisputable rights of all people. Making it impossible to take a rest for other humans is one of the worst torture and torment which can occur in peoples’ lives. It is one of the most nightmarish things which torturers can do to the prisoners. Nevertheless, there are many ways to take a rest in today’s world. I think there are two kinds of resting: active and passive. I would like to strongly recommend you and encourage you to choose the first one – active. Why?

Because while doing that, we can learn new things, we can empower ourselves. We can develop our mind and soul, stretch our muscles (including the brain), train our bodies, and develop our imagination.

I think we all know examples of both active and passive relaxation. Today I will focus on my effective ways of relaxation:

1) Photography – Yes, for today, it is my craziest passion. Sometimes I take photographs on the streets of Warsaw straight after work. Also, I do it on the weekends without photography school in the morning. In general, I take photos whenever possible. I love to take a walk in the urban space or somewhere in the wild forests of Brok, with the camera in my hand. While doing that, I feel entirely relaxed. Moreover, I am sure that I train not only my legs but also my imagination and observation skills. When I am shooting photos on the streets, I am often contemplating and meditating somehow. A lot of great ideas come to my mind while wandering (like writing posts).

Analyzing all the things which are happening around is one of the best ways to know to surround our world.

I feel like a kid while making photographs. Moreover, I am chasing my dreams thanks to this activity.

2) Sport – Until recently, my favorite discipline was swimming. Now, I love to stretch my body. I have already mentioned about this activity in one of the previous posts. In general, I like sports. Both swimming and stretching pull my muscles and makes my body fitter. My recommendations: if you do not feel afraid of the water and if you can swim – do it! Or, if you do not have enough time, take a walk or stretch muscles in your house.

3) Spending time with my girlfriend Kamila, and our kitty Azorek. Yes, spending time with our loved ones (no matter if we do it outdoor or indoor) is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing things which we have. I am confident that when we have it, we can be happy in almost 100%.  Also, reading inspiring books is one of the best ways to take a rest.
