Today (I wrote this text on the 15th of July, 2023), I embark on a personal journey to explore the art of writing without an audience and the profound benefits of staying true to oneself. I invite you, my Dear Friend, to join me on this introspective adventure.
The truth is that I write as no one else would read my thoughts. Somehow, I write for myself. I do not intend to write catchy texts. What examples could be for catchy blog posts? For example: “5 most inspiring street photographers,” “3 best cameras for street photography,” “15 great composition tips,” or “The best places to do street photography.” By the way, I believe there is no wrong place to do street photography. I do not write all these catchy posts because many similar (and many more!) are already on the Internet. I do not intend to write similar things.
Moreover, I do not write for any specific group of people.
The truth is that my website is open to each human who is curious about other human’s thoughts, insights, and ideas. The last human is, of course, me, Adam Mazek, a man who has been living in Poland since 1985 and is hoping to live for the next one hundred years. I want to share my inner visions with others by publishing them on the www.adammazek.com website. I do not know who will be reading my texts. That’s why I do not address my insights to anyone except myself. Perhaps it is one of the reasons I am not a worldwide known photographer, writer, and blogger. Still, I do not care about it at all.
However, this is not the case, as I won’t listen to critical opinions about my artistic activities.
I am always keen to listen to others. After all, it is one of the best ways to learn something. Still, I will finally decide what to do with other people’s criticism. In today’s post, I want to encourage you to write as if you were the only one who had read your texts. Still, I recommend publishing all your thoughts on your own website. That would be enough of the script about the art of writing.
