Undoubtedly, I am the average man. You are also the average man, my Dear Friend.
By doing all my creative activities (including street photography, writing, managing the www.adammazek.com website, preparing “Diaries” editions and sets of pictures like “Negation of The End” and “Transience.”), I want to prove that the average man can do great, astonishing, and profound things. I am 38 years old (I wrote this text on the 31st of October, 2023, and I was born on the 29th of March, 1985). I did not have spectacular successes and failures in my life. The truth is that I lead a peaceful life. I am not a highly talented person in any area. I finished Primary School in Malkinia Gorna and High School in Ostrow Mazowiecka (both towns in the northeastern part of Mazovian Voivodeship).
In 2004, I moved from Brok, my hometown (my first hometown was Malkinia Gorna), to the capital of Poland.
After five years of studying in Warsaw, I finished my Economics studies in 2009. I’ve been working in accountancy since that year. Later, I met my beloved Kamilka in 2015, and we have lived together since 2016. Why do I write about all these things? I want to prove that I am the average person and that nothing spectacular has happened in my life. Even though nothing sensational happens in my life and I am a classic No-Name, I want to prove that even the most mundane and grey people can do tremendous things.
I want to confirm this through art creation.
Taking pictures on Warsaw’s streets and writing are the core of my artistic activities. My blog is a tool, thanks to which I share my work with you, my Dear Friend. That’s how the average man, Adam Mazek, someday will become worldwide famous thanks to inspiring many other souls who ask themselves existential questions. I hope I will become famous one hundred years after my death. Undoubtedly, fame won’t help in my creative process.
