The Best Movie Trailers

November 11, 2020 by Adam Mazek

Today I will write about the best, in my opinion, movie trailers.

I like to get back to two movie trailers. After watching them, I want to watch the movie and listen to the soundtrack once again. What movie ads do I think about?

1) Flash Gordon – a film directed by Mike Hodges. The audience didn’t appreciate the movie at first. After many years it has become synonymous with charming science-fiction movie kitsch. I believe that movies like “Flash Gordon” should possess their own rankings, among other science-fiction genre films. The plot was based on the comic strip created by Alex Raymond in the ’30 of the XX century. Nevertheless, it is the magical music performed by the Queen band, which is a classic cherry on the top of this masterpiece. If you still haven’t heard the soundtrack from the “Flash Gordon” movie, I truly recommend you, my Dear Friend, to do it.

2) Midnight Cowboy – I wrote about this movie in one of my previous posts (“I’m walking here! I’m walking here!”).

“Midnight Cowboy” is, for me, next to “Star Wars,” one of the best films ever made. The duo performed by John Voight and Dustin Hoffmann provided one of the most remarkable feelings I ever had while watching the movie. In my opinion, both Voight and Hoffmann are the best duo that ever performed on the big screen. They did it on the same level as Laurel and Hardy, the Blues Brothers, or Han Solo and Chewbacca. Regarding the soundtrack of this movie, I recommend you to see one of my previous posts, named “Everybody’s Talkin’.”

If you do not know which film do you want to see, I recommend you to see the movie trailers mentioned above. I believe that it is always worth to broaden horizons. Maybe, after watching the advertisements for films, you will be encouraged to see full movies? I wonder whether I will ever see similar movie trailers that will encourage me to watch the film and listen to the soundtrack.
