It was the 11th of April 2020. I was afraid a little that the heatwave had been coming.
I had already written in one of my previous posts (“Hot summer days”) that sometimes I cannot go out to take pictures, because of the heat. The first day when I was not able to go out and take photos, because of the heatwave was on the 14th of June 2019. Today, at the beginning of April, I am afraid a little bit that the worse heat weather is still upcoming. Taking pictures during the oppressive heatwave is worse for me than doing it during the freezing cold. The high temperature can sap my brain. Moreover, it can stop me from thinking.
The fact is that during the heatwave, I do not have a problem only with walking on the streets, but also with writing.
I remember that about 10 am, the heat becomes stupefying, and it lasts all day. Do I think about the heatwave all day long? No. Speaking shortly: I try to avoid worrying about things for which I do not have much influence. In this post, I want to stress that I worry about the incoming heatwave, but it is not the worst problem of my life. Ok, I finish the writing. It is time to get clean the house because Easter is coming.
And, by the way, what’s one of the advantages that the heat can bring to us?
I hope that the rays of the sun will efficiently kill coronavirus. While I was writing this post, we, the Poles, were still in the middle of an epidemic emergency. The only hope connected with the upcoming hot summer days is the possibility to destroy the deadly virus. Maybe this year, the heatwave will bring a little more relief to all the people living on this planet.
