I often imagine the “Mazek” book as a coffee-table album in small and “XL” formats (made by Taschen).
I wrote many times on the www.adammazek.com website that I love rocking in the clouds. This text won’t be an exception. The older I am, the more I imagine the ‘Mazek’ book by Taschen. I see the black cover with a big ‘Mazek’ sign. Below would be the Taschen sign. Taschen often prints their books in various sizes. I see mine as part of the ‘Bibliotheca Universalis‘ series, a collection of timeless and significant works and the XXL formats. Taschen should hurry to publish such books. Why? Because after my death, it won’t be possible to prepare copies with my signatures.
Did I get crazy? Perhaps I did. Still, why can’t I rock in the clouds? Who forbids it from me?
I see ‘Diaries’ as a starting point for Taschen to publish my opus magnum. Of course, they can design books about my artistic activity differently. For example, they can print all or some of my texts. Do I allow others to mix my texts and pictures differently than I did on my website? Of course, I let it. After all, in most of my posts, images are not connected thematically with texts. Thus, Taschen editors can mix texts and pictures as they want. The truth is that I allow others to argue and comment on everything I publish on my blog.
Will I post the ‘Mazek’ book by myself?
I do not know what the future holds. I may do it. Still, I hope Taschen will do it. The self-publishing option is, speaking shortly, more realistic. Or, maybe the Polish publishing house ‘Bosz’ will publish about Adam Mazek’s artistic activity? Perhaps I will ask them about it in the near future? Today, I was dreaming aloud. Now, it is time to go to sleep.
