The Metal Feast.

January 19, 2023 by Adam Mazek

I made “The Metal Feast” in my car within the last month (I wrote this text on the 9th of November, 2021). What does it mean?

Entitled “The Metal Feast” means that I was listening to three Metallica albums for one month. Albums’ titles were as follows: “Kill’ Em All,” “Master of Puppets,” and “…And Justice for All.” I listened to these albums while driving to my office work and my homes in Warsaw and Brok. I decided to buy these three albums to become a Metallica fan who listens to albums almost chronologically. Why almost? It is because the first Metallica album is “Kill’ Em All.” Still, the second is “Ride The Lightning” (this album I bought and listened to earlier). Albums “Master of Puppets” and “…And Justice for All” are chronologically the third and fourth ones.

Did I enjoy the Metal Fest? Of course, I did. The first four Metallica albums are pretty specific. If you want to do the Metal Feast for yourself, my Dear Friend, and if you do not know these albums and you are not convinced, if you like metal music, I suggest starting listening to at least one of the albums mentioned above.

I do not regret buying four CDs with all early Metallica stuff.

For many years, I knew mainly Metallica’s so-called “Black Album” from 1991. Many popular songs are included, e.g., “Nothing Else Matters,” “Wherever I May Roam,” or “The Unforgiven.” Still, after hearing entitled “Metal Feast,” I think I know why Metallica die-hard fans were not content after hearing “The Black Album.” Undoubtedly, the first four Metallica albums sounded like classic heavy metal. I did not know that I liked this kind of music, but I reaffirmed that I enjoyed listening to this kind of music. Perhaps, the only disadvantage of listening to it in the car was that it could be perilous. Why? Because the driver should prevent himself from speeding up the car while listening to the Metal Feast. Songs from all albums mentioned above make wanna drive faster. It is not safe.
