The perfection of eternity.

November 6, 2021 by Adam Mazek

I will write in this post about the perfection of eternity.

Last time I read in Edward Brooke-Hitching’s book, named “The Sky Atlas: The greatest maps, myths and discoveries of the Universe,” that maybe there is any evidence that our existence is, indeed, divine. I was amazed when I read that according to the recent quantum equation models, there never was a creation point of the Universe. Surprisingly, these models are consistent and working with Albert Einstein’s laws. Is it possible that Cosmos may have existed forever, with no beginning or end, both in time and space?

For me, it’s a stunningly beautiful and provocative idea.

I believe that we can find a hint in numbers regarding this theory. We all know that there is no end and beginning regarding counting numbers. No matter what digit we will provide to each other. We can always add 1 (+1) or reduce 1 (-1) from every number. Suppose we tend to measure practically all things (especially those connected with astronomy, astrophysics, mathematics, or science) by numbers. In that case, the fact that we can count endlessly is evidence for the perfection of eternity. This perfection of eternity maybe we can “observe” in our Universe. The theory that there was no Big Bang and that time and space do not have any borders makes sense.

Mathematics cannot deny it.

The proposition that the Universe does not possess both limited time and limited space would be the same as Aristotle’s scientific approach towards the conception of time and space. Is it possible that Aristotle already solved the mystery of the Universe more than 2300 years ago? I doubt. The idea that the Cosmos does not have both beginning and end is very tempting. Still, as usual, I know that no one would ever prove with 100% of certainty that the theory “A” is better than the theory “B.”
