I thought walking in summer clothes in cold temperatures and rucking would affect the quality of my photos. Did it?
The answer to the question of whether the quality of my photos decreased because of exposing my body to cold by walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures or due to rucking (walking with a heavy rucksack) is quite simple. No, all these things did not affect the quality of my images. Undoubtedly, I still take incredible pictures, no matter what I wear, in any temperature, or how much weight I carry on my back and shoulders. Even if you never see, in my photos, the pain connected with cold or the weight I carry, I can assure you, my Dear Friend, that this pain exists.
Sometimes, I wonder if the pain that accompanies me on most of my walks influences my photos.
I do not think so. Perhaps I would show my selfies more often after walking in freezing temperatures to show I was freezing. Still, even in these photos, surprisingly, I usually do not see the pain of being cold. I do not know how it is possible. After all, often, after walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures, my fingers hurt. Or, after taking over 10k steps with a 32 kg (71 lbs) rucksack, the only thing I think of is to take a refreshing shower and lie down on my bed to take a rest. Why?
Because I am tired, and I feel my body hurts.
I do not know how it is possible that the hectic effort of rucking does not affect the quality of my photos negatively. Perhaps I am almost a demigod. I do not know it. Undoubtedly, I have become much more robust since I started rucking in the middle of April 2024. But through it all, my dedication to photography has never wavered. It’s a passion that drives me, regardless of the physical discomfort. My dedication to photography is relentless, a constant in the face of these challenges, and it’s this passion that keeps me going.
