Today I will write something about the stomach.
During our three-day visit to Masuria, I ate all the time. It was a time when I reminded myself that the mind controls the stomach. How is it possible? The stomach, my Dear Friend, is mostly not the stomach at all but the head. That sensitive overtired head significantly impacts the stomach, as can be seen, for example, with seasickness. During three-day vacations, I had a feast all the time. I ate breakfast, dinner, and supper.
Moreover, I ate sweets and drank beer.
For me, it was a time when I did not want to want strict discipline regarding eating. While eating and drinking almost all the time, I reminded myself of one issue. The appetite in the head leads healthy people to eat, not the hunger in the stomach. It is the mind that wants consumption. Am I happy that I had a three-day feast? Yes, I am. Once a year, I can stop fasting. Still, I do not want to consume food all day, every day. I reject mindless consumerism. I do not want to have my stomach full of food every day.
In intermittent fasting, I trust.
I have no doubts I will do it until my life’s end. If you haven’t tried intermittent fasting yet, my Dear Friend, I recommend doing it. Start listening to your stomach, not your head, hungry for appetite and short-lived bliss. Eating for pleasure can make you addicted to eating sweets or drinking beer. It is always better to not eat anything than eat shitty food. Food is for me, not me, the client, and the thoughtless consumer, for food. My life’s aim is not to become one of the best clients of worldwide food companies. I don’t want to dig my grave with a fork, knife, and spoon.
