The success of my blogging (and, in general, I would broaden this definition to street photography, writing, and the whole of life aspects) is not external; it is connected to how I transform internally.
First of all, for me, the success in my blogging is that I’ve been able to blog for almost eight years (I wrote this text on the 22nd of August, 2025, and I published the first post on my blog on the 1st of September, 2017). During this period, I achieved several significant accomplishments, including a writing streak where I wrote one text daily from July 2021 to the end of 2022, and another where I published one post daily from the 10th of September, 2022, to the present. Yes, my Dear Friend, it means that I’ve been publishing one post daily for almost three years, and this stream is still ongoing. Also, as you’ve undoubtedly noticed, I did not connect the success of my blogging with money.
I have written many times that I do not have plans to monetize my passion, and nothing has changed.
For me, money is not equal to success. Professionally, I am working in a broadly defined finance area. I consider this an advantage because it connects all my endeavors with passion, with blogging at the forefront, and makes me totally independent, so I don’t rely on money when I think about street photography or writing. I do not ask if and if yes, how much money I would earn before taking a particular photo or writing a new text. The success of my blogging and my whole artistic activities is not something outside of me. It is the process I enjoy and all the things that are changing me internally while doing all these things. The joy of creation, the fulfillment of personal growth, and the satisfaction of sharing my passion with the world are the true measures of success in my artistic pursuits.
