The older I am, the more I feel that life has no simplistic unitary goal.
I wrote this text on the 7th of February, 2024. It was a usual day when nothing special happened at all. Still, one incentive came to my mind. We often tend to ask ourselves what the right way to live is. Many answers can appear, such as not hurting other people and treating others as we would like to be treated. Undoubtedly, it would be right. Still, what is the ultimate purpose of life? What do we aim for? The older I become, the more I see we will never know the ultimate sense of our existence.
We can have purposes that vary whether we are young and going to school or in our prime.
In the latter, we may plan to become a Director, build a house, and raise a family, or whether we are old enough to rest in almost everything we encounter. We want to focus on our family and passion. I do not know if everything you read above, my Dear Friend, is true. Still, we never know the ultimate unitary goal of our lives. We do not understand why we appeared in this world. We do not know it as a single human or a human species. Still, do we have to know the simplistic and unitary goals for life? I do not think so. What I know is that the definitive answer to all my existential questions and doubts is silence.
I try to live here and now without overthinking about the past and not planning for the future too much. I do not know where the human civilization is going. Will we self-destruct? Undoubtedly, it is a possible scenario. There may be millions of other similar-to-Earth planets that ended with self-destruction and with a lack of knowledge of why life appeared in this marvelous Universe.
