The thought from my last photo-walk (I wrote this post on the 26th of February 2020): there is no wrong place to take pictures.
The more I walk, the more I see and feel that there is no wrong place to take photographs. Each location is specific in its own way. Every corner of our world, whether it is indoor or outdoor, can be photographed marvelously. Of course, the choice of additional devices (e.g., a tripod or an external flash to the camera) can be crucial to decide how to photograph each specific area. The fact is that each place is a location appropriate for taking pictures.
I do not believe you. There are a lot of dull, boring, ugly places where nothing happens and where no one will ever take outstanding photographs.
Without a doubt, you could say to me, my Dear Friend. I would say that most of the locations in our world are boring, mundane, and usual areas. Nevertheless, a good artist-photographer will always try to take as good shots as possible, no matter where he is. I would say that it can be a big challenge, for everyone, to artistically interpret mundane surroundings into a photographic masterpiece.
What about you, my Dear Friend? Do you also believe that there is no wrong place to take pictures?
If you know some dull places, my Dear Friend, where you assured that no one will ever make an astonishing photo, please, let me know. I am curious about such places. The fact is that the more uninteresting location, the biggest challenge to take a marvelous photo is. I also believe that many of us would say that the place where we live is boring. I am assured that it is not valid. It is only a matter of our visual perceptions of the surrounding that tell us that “this area is so boring that you will never take a good picture here.” If you think that your place of living is dull, better change your mind and start to take photos now.
