Thousands of flights to the Moon per year? Is it possible? I believe it is.
I doubt humanity will reach the planet Mars during my lifetime. I wrote this text on the 24th of June, 2023. I was 38 years old on that day. I am not a clairvoyant. I do not know what the future holds. Still, I simply think we must conquer Antarctica and the ocean floor to be able to succeed on Mars. Speaking shortly: without establishing self-sufficient bases on Antarctica and the ocean floor, we should not try to conquer the Red Planet. Undoubtedly, setting such commands on the unoccupied continent and sea floor will be easier than establishing a self-sufficient base located 54.6 million kilometers (33.9 million miles) away from Earth. I have not heard of preparations for such bases on Antarctica and the ocean floor.
That’s why I do not believe people will reach Mars within the next one hundred years.
Still, I believe in thousands of flights to the Moon per year. I think economically reusable rockets are closer than I imagined. What will be the aim of thousands of flights to the Moon per year? If one does not know about the reason, the reason is money. I see thousands of millionaires who want to visit the Moon and pay for it in enormous cash. This money will give NASA additional funds to prepare future projects (e.g., establishing a human base on Mars).
Moreover, with each rocket’s launching and landing, scientists and cosmonauts will have more and more experience and wisdom that will help in the future to conquer more distant space objects, with Mars at the forefront. I believe in humanity and science. Thus, I believe in landing and conquering Mars. Still, I am not too optimistic in this case. That’s why I do not think I will see pictures from the landing.
