Timeliness.

January 14, 2024 by Adam Mazek

Timeliness is crucial in work in broadly defined Finance.

I also have timeliness here on the www.adammazek.com blog. Who imposed deadlines on my creative activity? It was me who did it. Where can we find promptness regarding my website? We can find it in terms of “Diaries” publishing. From the very beginning, I decided to publish “Diaries” on the first Sunday of each subsequent month. Do I meet my targets?

Regarding publishing one “Diaries'” edition, I met my target. Regarding publishing each edition on the first Sunday of each month, I did not meet my target. Did something wrong happen when I did not meet my target? No, life goes on. The deadlines mentioned above are my imaginary deadlines.

Nothing will happen when I do not meet them, contrary to the world of Finance where companies and private persons have to pay bills and taxes.

I am even happy that I did not meet the deadlines that appeared in my head. Everything you see on my blog, my Dear Friend, could be considered a broadly understood world of art. In this creative world, nothing has to be on time and perfect. Contrary, perfection is dull. I do not want to be perfect because I will never be perfect. That’s why timeliness is, indeed, crucial in my professional work. Still, I pay too much attention to it in my creative hobby. For me, a work of art should be free, out of time and space, and deprived of imaginary boundaries connected with time. Still, it does not mean I won’t try to be prompt regarding “Diaries” publishing.

Ok, I will finish this writing. It is 9:30 p.m., and it is getting colder outside. The temperature outside is 2 degrees Celsius (35.6 degrees Fahrenheit). I’ve never worn summer clothes without a winter cap and gloves in such cold temperatures. I must get out and try whether I will manage to walk for 40 minutes. While doing it, undoubtedly, I will forget about any deadlines.
