Trivialities

Sometimes I wonder whether to sympathize or envy people who care about trivialities (e.g., a broken coffee machine).

On the one hand, I feel sorry for them because I cannot imagine wasting my time and energy on such trifles. I feel sorry for my nerves. On the other hand, perhaps this type of people should be envied because if they care about such small things, it is very likely that they do not have significant problems in their lives. Maybe I should both envy and sympathize with them simultaneously? As usual, these are open questions with many possible answers to give. Still, I believe, and it is the answer that is closer to my heart, that I should sympathize with people who are worried about insignificant matters. Why? Because my life, in comparison to the age of the Universe, is concise. I believe that it is senseless and pointless to worry about trivialities or things that still haven’t occurred.

Life is too short to worry about minor issues.

I believe that caring about trifles is a simple waste of time and energy. If you have too much time and energy, you better start taking photos outside your house, go to the gym, swimming pool, or go out to run. When you start doing something creative, or if you focus your vitality towards sport, in a brief period, you will notice that, indeed, worrying about trivialities is effortless. I know that being angry at trivialities can be connected to much bigger problems. Still, it is another reason that we should not worry about minor issues. That’s why I sympathize with people who care about trifles. I believe that they waste their precious time and energy on insignificant matters. I recommend to you, my Dear Friend, no to worry about trivialities. Do not waste your resources to become a better human.
