I believe that we should practically always trust our body, mind, and soul. Indeed, our body is still a mystery, and we do not know the full powers it contains.
I live in Warsaw, and I love to take photographs on the streets of this city. But, to be honest, if I would live in all other cities worldwide, I would probably do a similar artistic activity as I do. The place of making images is not so important as many think. It is the overall mood of my body that counts. I always try to trust and hear my inner voice while making art.
The mood of my body, mind, and soul is a source of my knowledge. I admire people who trust their bodies. Yogis could be one of the examples.
I believe that the body is one of the most reliable bases of thinking and communication. Let’s take, for example, a child. Do children trust their bodies? The kid counts its fingers to understand itself. Children learn thanks to one’s bodies. These are their first thoughts. Kids trust their bodies. Everything else is an abstraction for them. Also, I try to think like a kid while making photographs. Why? Because kids look for joy when they want to do something. Entertainment is a crucial thing regarding my passion. I cannot imagine wandering through the streets of Warsaw, with a camera in my hand, without pure, childish joy.
Thus, I always try to trust my body, mind, and soul.
Also, I often try to hear my inner voice and instinct. Kids spontaneously trust all their feelings. In this matter, I want to be like a kid. And by the way. I also try to “hear” my body’s inner voice while doing sports. Why? Because it tells me which part of muscles I should stretch today. Whether they are the legs or arms, I always try to analyze which parts of my body I should exercise.
I genuinely encourage you, my Dear Friend, to trust your body, mind, and soul. There is no better knowledge of ourselves than one’s inner voice.
