The more frequently I do the rucking, the more I feel like a turtle.
I wrote this text on the 9th of December, 2024. It was a day when I was coming back from the office on foot. While doing it, I was not doing street photography because it was too dark. Still, I was walking slowly. I was walking so unhurriedly that I started to see myself as a turtle. We all know that, in general, turtles are considered slow animals. Still, it does not mean they cannot win anything. One of the symbolic examples can be found in one of Aesop’s “The Tortoise and the Hare” fables. We know the turtle won the race in this fable, thanks to persistence and perseverance.
The truth is that I wanna be a turtle not only while rucking but also in my approach to my blog.
I believe each subsequent text I wrote and picture I took is one slow step towards a bright future and accomplishing my artistic aim. Each photo walk brings me closer to my artistic bright future. But what is my artistic aim? Do I know it? Do I want to be a famous artist who earns billions from my creative activity? No. I have much more interesting things to do than earning money from passion.
The truth is that I earn money from a broadly defined finance area, and I do not plan to change it.
Regarding my artistic activity, I plan to be a turtle who takes a step toward becoming a better artist daily. I hope to do an additional thousand steps daily in the future. I simply want to be one of the most prolific artists who ever stomped on this planet. I hope to write and do street photography, without hurry, like a turtle, until the end of my life.
