The world turned upside down in my imagination many times throughout my whole life.
What examples of when the world turned upside down can I give to you, my Dear Friend? For example, these can be my brother’s death. I described it more precisely in one of my the most famous works of art, named “Farewell.” There were many other turning points in my life when I felt that the world turned upside down for me. Still, the example written above is, undoubtedly, the crucial one. If my imaginary world turned upside down many times, how come that I did not get insane? Why am I still standing, to paraphrase the famous Elton John’s song, named “I’m still standing?”
If something is constantly changing, if something is turning upside down many times, then it is evident that the world’s imaginary interpretation often goes back to the previous order.
I suppose that it is the answer to why I (and I think that millions of other people) did not get crazy after a subsequent “earthquake” in one’s life. What’s the conclusion of this text? Such that if the world is turning upside down for hundredth times in your life, then, in fact, every second time, it returned to “normality.” I would say that it a neverending process. Thus, I believe that we should be like water. What does it mean exactly? Check one of my previous posts.
There is also a famous quote saying that what does not kill you it will make you stronger.
This quote is a banality. Still, we should sometimes seek the best solutions in platitudes. After all, a person’s life is the sum of his experiences. Suppose these experiences will not make you die. In that case, there is a high possibility that your life will be both fascinating and fruitful. The harsh wind of changes breaks weak trees. On the other hand, the same gale strokes strong trees and soothes them by combining them. Thus, if your world turned upside down due to some disaster, try to remember that it will come back to the previous, solid, fundamental, and strong state if it happens another time in the future.
