This text won’t refer to one of the greatest rock albums ever to appear, Guns and Roses’ “Use Your Illusion.”
The truth is that Kamilka and I rarely watch TV. Indeed, I turn on the TV only when Legia or the Polish National Football team play. We do not have Netflix or other streaming platforms because we do not need them. For example, I prefer to use my imagination, thoughts, and illusion to create something out of nothing, that is, to write something profound. In today’s post, I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to use your illusion to create. I do not use Artificial Intelligence to help me write texts you read on the www.adammazek.com blog.
Since I started regularly writing in English (May 2017), I took many incentives from books, with Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novels, Stanislaw Lem’s science-fiction books, and Taschen’s books about broadly defined culture at the forefront.
However, I do not copy anything from other works. They provide me with a pinch of insights that I delve deeper into, explore, and transform through my own experiences and meditations. Then, I describe my own thoughts and feelings about other human ideas. In each stage mentioned above, I use my illusion. We all use our imagination while reading and contemplating many issues. How do I do that? What are my tips for others? For me, there are many ways to write new things. I receive incentives not only from books but also while walking, falling asleep, or doing simple activities like washing dishes.
Undoubtedly, one cannot force creativity.
My illusions often come unexpectedly, without pushing myself anyhow. I do not know if this post is inspirational or educational. I did not have a particular aim of writing this text. I believe that not having a specific aim in writing allows for a more organic and free-flowing creative process. Do I have to always have an objective in my life? I do not think so. My illusion tells me that the aim of existence does not exist.
