I can imagine that within dozens of years after my death, the viewpoints of Warsaw will be inspired by my artistic activity.Â
Recently, I came up with an idea of how such viewpoints inspired by my photographs could look. These points would be in places where Adam Mazek took one of his famous photos. Will photography and art historians be able to track the places where I took some particular photographs? Some will undoubtedly be able to (e.g., those pictures with a characteristic building such as the Palace of Culture and Science). In turn, others will be almost impossible to reproduce (e.g., paper lying on the curb). Do I know which photographs could participate in this type of entertainment? Of course, I have a lot of favorite photos.
Nevertheless, I leave the final choice to posterity.
Let them have fun in connection with my photography. The fact is that I still have a lot of fun while surfing through thousands of images that I made mainly on the streets of Warsaw. How many viewpoints of Adam Mazek’s photographs could appear? I believe that thousands in almost every district of the capital of Poland.
Are you insane? Do you want to tell me that these sad, creepy black and white photographs could be memorized by mapping them on the streets of the biggest city in Poland?
Undoubtedly, you could ask me, my Dear Friend. Why not? I believe in myself. Moreover, I believe in my artistic activity and in the results that I achieve. I am convinced that I have a lot to say to other people, to posterity, to inspire them to be creatively free. I know that there was not and that there will be no similar artist in Warsaw, like me. Becoming famous is not the aim of my life, and I hope that I won’t be famous during my lifetime. I do simply hope that Poles will appreciate my photos, texts, and Diaries. When they do it, they will undoubtedly want to memorize, e.g., by creating viewpoints connected with my artistic activity.
