Last time I realized that I unconsciously experimented with myself. It was a visual experiment. There was a time in my life when I was practically daily, regularly swimming.
I know that I wrote similar things before, but I never know who and when will start to read my website. Thus I want to introduce some of life’s stories to new guests on the blog. Back to the main topic, I believe that swimming helped me to develop my imagination. How? I think it was caused by the fact that when we swim in the swimming pool, practically all the time, we see the same things (that are other swimmers, tiles, the ceiling of the swimming pool, etc.). When we look at the same things most of the time, we have to launch our imagination to visualize something.
We must use our invention and wisdom to imagine some hidden inner worlds. That was my experiment.
The truth is that while swimming, I found solutions to many issues going on in my head. Moreover, I believe that regular swimming gave me new feelings, difficult to describe. I think it is a specific kind of imagination. For example, during the swimming, I had been fantasizing about other worlds and dimensions Or, I was contemplating God or the religion as a whole. The fact is that I had regularly been swimming in 2011 until the beginning of 2018. There were weeks where I did it without any breaks. The maximum time for this healthy activity during this period was one hour and forty minutes. I remember that above mentioned time lasted in my swimming career for one year! Only diseases and trips were able to stop me from going to the swimming pool. Now, it is photography that conquered my hobby world.
Nevertheless, I believe that swimming helped in boosting my imagination, my inner world of visualization.
While floating, I had some longing for the external world. Somehow I regretted that I swim and I do not see what is going on outside, that is outside the swimming pool. Today, I do not swim. I prefer to stretch my muscles in the house. I do it during the breaks while writing all my content on this website. Sometimes I miss my inner water world. Nevertheless, I am sure that it is only a matter of time when I come back to the water. It is a matter of time when I dive into the water, start to swim, and bring back my visual experiment once again.
