Why is walking around the city in a t-shirt in cold temperatures safer than wandering in the mountains?
Strolling in the city in a t-shirt in cold temperatures is safer than wandering in the mountains. Why? Because it is easy to contact other passers-by. There is no danger that you will be frozen in the city because you can hide in a store, restaurant, or gas station. Then, you can order a taxi to your home at your own expense. There is not necessary to call the GOPR (Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue) for help. The GOPR is a Polish organization that helps people endangered in the mountains. They do it at the expense of the taxpayer. That’s why walking in a t-shirt in cold temperatures is not as dangerous as walking in the mountains.
You can permanently hide somewhere in the city if you start to feel cold and when you start shaking because of coldness.
We all know that strolling in the mountains can be dangerous. We can get lost, lose drinking water reserves, be hit by thunder, fall from the high altitude, or be frozen to death. While walking around the city, there are not as many dangers as in the mountains. Of course, we can always get lost, hit by a car, or robbed. Still, when we talk about strolling in cold temperatures in only a t-shirt, undoubtedly, walking in a city is much safer. We do not have to go to the dangerous mountains to toughen up our bodies.
Indeed, we do not have to even go outside our house. Thanks to taking cold showers, we can toughen up the body in the home. I want you, my Dear Friend, to remember one thing from this text. If you walk in a t-shirt in cold temperatures in a city and feel cold, hide somewhere, order a taxi and return to your home safely.
