Last time, while wandering through the streets of Warsaw, I thought about when I began to take photographs during walks.
I always write that it started in October 2015. In general, it is true. It was a time when I took a two-week course in basic photography. Jakub Cegielski was the one who was teaching there. Thanks to this course, I got the new profound inspiration to retake pictures. I think that it is also a great moment to say, “Thank you, Kuba, for your workshops.” You did a great job! Since then, I have started to make my photo walks. Wandering through the streets of Warsaw with a camera in my hand became my hobby!
Later on, in October 2016, I joined ROE school, where I met two inspirational teachers: Tomek Grzyb and Bartek Mokrzycki.
Thanks to them, both my artistic and photographic skills leveled up! These teachers gave me a lot of knowledge regarding widely defined art and photography. Once again, thank you very much for your cooperation! Learning with you during two years of studies was a great pleasure!
But now, I want to get back to the title of this post. Indeed, I started wandering through the streets of Warsaw in 2012. It was a time when I bought my Nikon D-90 camera. I have used this equipment from then on until today. By taking into consideration this fact, I think that Nikon also did a great job by producing this camera!
So the point is that I made my first single photo walks at the beginning of 2012.
But why I stopped to do it? Probably because I had a lot of office work. Also, my leisure time was filled 80% with swimming in the pool. After swimming for more than one hour (in 2016, I was swimming non-stop, with breaks only for a pee, for one hour and forty minutes!) I did not have much energy for photography. Today, I gave up swimming. But I do not plan to give up photography. Creating art is like oxygen for my body, mind, heart, and soul. I plan to continue wandering through the streets of Warsaw until the end of my life.
PS
The photographs presented in this post are those I took in 2012 after buying a new camera.
