For me, hackers from the „Anonymous” group were criminals.
Today (I wrote this text on the 2nd of March, 2022), „Anonymous” are heroes for me. I did not expect hackers to attack Russia’s space agency named „Roscosmos.” For me, it is hard to believe that group that was regarded rather as a group of criminals that would raise a stink and provide chaos in global economies and companies will start to help a country like Ukraine. I can imagine that one day „Anonymous” would become criminal in my eyes if they, e.g., would rob someone. Still, in the war in Ukraine, they fight on the right side. I see their hacking activity as a crucial Alliance in the battle between good and evil. Putin is a devil. Only the devil would be able to bombard innocent civilians.
How happy I am when I read that hackers are attacking private accounts of the Russian oligarchs with fucking Putin at the forefront.
I hope that in this particular war, they will succeed in the same way as Ukrainians will win the fight on the battlefield. There is no acceptance for the Russian’s army aggression. While writing about all these issues, I started to wonder if similar scenarios, that hackers are joining one side of the war and take control over, e.g., Spy-Satellites, appeared in, e.g., science-fiction writers’ minds. For me, the case with „Anonymous’” activities during the war in Ukraine is proof that reality is stranger than fiction. Who would have known that Putin would bombard Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other Ukrainian cities?
Am I afraid that nuclear war can appear? Yes, I am scared of the third world war. I believe that Putin got insane and wants to rebuild the Russian Empire or the Soviet Union to old borders. I have no doubt that Ukraine, alongside hackers’ groups, will prevent him from accomplishing his aim.
