In today’s text, I want to stress that the war in Ukraine destroyed Ukrainians’ lives and infrastructure and the chronology on my blog.
Since the war in Ukraine erupted, I felt that I needed to write something about it and publish it within days, not months. The truth is that during the day when the Russian army invaded Ukraine, I had 167 posts scheduled. Today (I wrote the current text on the 17th of March, 2022), I would name these posts “pre-war texts.” The “War in Ukraine” series are texts that I wrote since the very beginning of the Russian invasion, which happened on the 24th of February, 2022. While writing about all these things and analyzing the fact that the war in Ukraine also destroyed chronology on my blog, I decided that for each post published since the 17th of March, 2022, I will be writing a short statement at the end. To be more precise, I will write:
I wrote this text on the… (correct date).
By doing it, I will help future cyber-archeologists in their work once they try to arrange all my texts in chronological order. By writing the statement “I wrote…” at the end of each post, I will leave no doubts about when I wrote it. I do not plan to write this statement to all my posts published before the 17th of March, 2022. Why? For me, it would be a titanic work. As of the 17th of March, 2022, I have already published 776 posts. I would not be able to write it for so many posts. The truth is that I prefer to focus on the future, doing street photography and writing new texts.
I keep my fingers crossed for Ukrainians to overcome the evil that attacked them. Hope is the last thing that all people could be deprived of. I have no doubt that the future is bright for Ukrainians and Poles. Even if I know that horror is taking place in the neighboring country, I hope the war will end soon.
