In today’s text, I won’t focus on a classic science-fiction movie Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope), written and directed by George Lucas.
In the current text, I want to write that YouTube reminded me that Art (to be more precise: music) could pour a new hope into all peoples’ minds, hearts, and souls. Since the war in Ukraine broke out, YouTube has recommended me many historical and military movies. I feel bombarded by the news about the war. I am not surprised about it. The truth is that I talk about it with almost everyone whom I meet. I can easily imagine that other Poles also talk about the Russian aggression toward Ukraine. Still, unexpectedly, yesterday (I wrote this text on the 16th of March, 2022), YouTube recommended me one of the greatest albums ever. This album poured a New Hope into my heart. What’s the name of the band and album? It is Fleetwood Mac’s „Rumours” album.
I already wrote about one of the songs from this album in the post entitled „You Can Go Your Own Way.”
Fleetwood Mac’s songs poured a lot of warmth into my soul. I reminded myself that war would end someday. Of course, I do not know if it will happen during my lifetime. Still, the hope for a new, bright future keeps me (and, undoubtedly, Ukrainians, Poles, and the rest of the world) going and stands firm. I merely believe that war would end sooner than later.
Moreover, I hope that Putin should be punished for everything he did. For today, I donate to a charity regarding Ukrainian refugees and work in the office. I hope that the Polish government will use the taxes I pay smartly. If you are stressed due to war, my Dear Friend, I recommend listening to Fleetwood Mac’s album named „Rumours.” I hope it will pour peace into your heart, mind, and soul.
