I wrote this text on the 25th of March, 2022. It was a day before switching to daylight saving time.
I do not have to mention that I am delighted that days will be longer. For me, it means that I will do street photography more frequently. Is there anything that disturbs my enjoyment? Yes, of course. It is war in Ukraine. The truth is that I cannot fully be happy when I think that the fucking Putin’s army is bombarding Innocent civilians in Ukraine. I will never accept it and forgive Putin for everything he has done to Ukraine. That’s why I cannot fully enjoy the fact that spring is coming. Another issue (besides the war in Ukraine) that makes me sad is that frigid temperatures will finish.
I will have to wait about six months to be able to expose my body to frigid temperatures. I hoped that the temperatures would be lower. For example, my record regarding walking in summer clothes (including the www.adammazek.com t-shirt, shorts, trousers, gloves, and cap) was -9 Celsius degrees (15,8 degrees Fahrenheit). The walk lasted 40 minutes and happened on the 26th of December, 2021. It was an evening walk. That’s why I did not do street photography then.
On the other hand, while doing street photography on Warsaw’s streets, the coldest temperature was on the 27th of December, 2021.
During that day I walked in clothes as mentioned above for two hours. It was -6 degrees Celsius (21,2 degrees Fahrenheit). I regret that I could not do street photography in summer clothes while there was -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit). I hope that during the Fall/Winter season of 2022/2023, I will be able to break my record. Moreover, I hope that up until this period, the war in Ukraine will be over. For today, I will try to focus on doing street photography because spring is coming to all Europeans.
