I do not want to emigrate. I want to live and die in Poland.
The truth is that majority of the people, except madmen like fucking Putin, want to live in peace and harmony. I am not an exception. I hope that I would be live one hundred years in Poland. It is my plan. Intermittent fasting and cold showers will help me live long and die in Poland. I wrote this text on the 12th of March, 2022. War in Ukraine seems to become something ordinary and usual. That’s terrible news. Still, I think that people tend to normalize probably everything that is happening around them. Perhaps, I am not an exception. I try to live as normally as possible, even if I know the Russian army is bombarding Ukraine.
I never judged emigrants. People emigrate for many reasons.
I would say that Ukrainian immigrants are warmly welcomed in Poland. When the war broke up, the Ukrainian refugees were warmly welcomed. I feel sorry for those who had to flee to other countries to find shelter and a new home. If I want to emigrate or escape from Poland, I should do it now. Still, I do not want to do it. I hope to live the next 70 years with my beloved Kamilka in Warsaw. Even if Russia tries to invade Poland the same way it invaded Ukraine, I know I won’t flee. I will stay in the capital of Poland, and I will do all the best I can to protect my homeland. I would do it for the whole Polish and Ukrainian society.
The more I live in Poland, the more I feel that I want to live here. I plan to become the Polish master of street photography. To do it, I must live another 70 years in Poland, do street photography and manage the www.adammazek.com blog. That’s why I hope to die in Poland.
