I know that my prediction is not revealing. Still, I have no doubt that war in Ukraine will change everything.
First of all, I have no doubts that the feeling of safety would decrease in most of the Polish hearts, minds, and souls. I know that the 13th secretary-general of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, and the president of the United States of America, Joe Biden, are giving warranties that NATO would protect every square meter of member countries, but these are words and papers. If the Polish nation wants to feel safe, we must arm ourselves. I am a keen proponent of increasing funds for the Army, without any hesitation. It is the only way to feel safer. Remember, my Dear Friend, that Poland is neighboring aggressive Putin’s Russia – a country with thousands of nuclear weapons. War in Ukraine already changed my level of feeling safe.
Moreover, I have no doubts that insane Putin’s decisions and sanctions implemented by the Western countries against Russia will change the world order and economy forever.
Many scenarios appear in my mind while thinking of it. I can imagine that in the long term, chaos and revolution can erupt not only in Russia but also in neighboring countries. I hope that Poland will not be one of them. Why? Because I merely hope that the European Union would help us manage the financial or energetic crises. Another scenario is that Russia, literally and figuratively, will economically, socially, and mentally regress in development. Of course, many things depend on China. Another strategy is that Russia will start to make great deals with China. In this case, undoubtedly, Russia would become much dependent on the Middle Kingdom. The aggressive Russian invasion of Ukraine will launch a domino effect in many aspects of people’s lives worldwide. I suppose that some scenarios will positively and negatively surprise all of us. War in Ukraine will change everything in every humans’ life.
