The more I do street photography during warm days, the more I appreciate cold days.
I wrote this text on the 4th of May, 2022. It is the middle of spring. The days are getting longer and longer. The sun has shone almost every time for the last few days. Undoubtedly, the previous days reminded me that I also love typical warm days. I suppose that most people would say they love warm and sunny days, but I am not like the majority in this case. The truth is that since I started my journey with cold showers and exposed my body to frigid temperatures by walking in summer clothes during fall and winter, I realized how much I admire cold days. Still, I know that to genuinely appreciate them, I must feel warm and sunny days.
I suppose that it would be easier for me to write that I love doing street photography during every weather.
This statement would be true. I was often walking in the rain and was happy about it. Only hot summer days seem less attractive, and I am keener to resign from walking during the heatwave. Still, the truth is that I also like strolling in the summer. How happy I am that I live with my charming Kamilka and have beloved Parents, great friends, a satisfying job, and passion, thanks to which I can express my thoughts and feelings. The only thing that worries me is the war in Ukraine and the fact that the fucking Putin’s army is still attacking Poland’s eastern neighbor.
The longer I live, the more I feel I will always have something to worry about.
That’s the way it is. I hope the broadly defined Western world with the USA, EU countries, and Ukraine will win the war against evil Russia. I consider Russia, a hostile government that represents the civilization of death. Why? Because I do not understand why Putin sends young people to die in Ukraine rather than investing in their learning and development. For me, Putin is a madman. I hope that lasting warm days will be his last ones.
