Last time I was thinking about whether we could obtain from life a warranty on something. The conclusion is that, indeed, we can get from existence one guaranty.
What warranty do you mean? Is it connected with happiness? Can we receive a guarantee for a happy life?
Undoubtedly you could ask tonnes of questions in this matter, my Dear Friend. I must sadly write that this warranty is not connected with a broadly defined comfort. There were, and will be, a lot of people whose lives are mainly tragic. No one from us could choose when and where we were born. I will provide you some extreme examples.
Did a newborn who had few months in the time when the volcano in Pompeii erupted had a joyful life?
I doubt. Did a five-year-old child had a happy experience when he was taken to the Nazis-German concentration camp in Auschwitz, and when he was killed there, had a joyous life? The answer is obvious. Did the two mentioned above examples receive a warranty from life, about which I want to write? Yes, all the people who were born received this warranty.
We all are guaranteed that our existence in this world will end up with our death.
Death is the only thing that we can be sure of. No one will ever take away from us the fact that our existence will end someday. I believe that humanity constantly will be extending the average longevity of our lives. Still, at the same time, we will never be able to obtain immortality. Is it a pessimistic vision of the future? I would call it a realistic one. When we summarize this post, we will see that we should not wait for any plans to make them happened. Still, we should start to make our passion, hobby to become someone who will be remembered by posterity. Remember, my Dear Friend, that the only warranty we have is the fact that our lives will end someday.
