Warsaw affects my very perceptions, bombarding me with new impressions at every turn and corner.
That’s why I cannot imagine getting bored with doing street photography in Warsaw. Whenever I walk the same street for the hundredth or even thousandth time, I photographically discover something unique. I wrote this text on the 9th of January, 2022. It was a day when I was strolling, among others, within the Sluzew, Sluzewiec Przemyslowy, and Sluzewiec neighborhoods. I’d worked as an accountant in these areas for ten years. I know them very well.
Moreover, I live nearby.
Still, I am continually amazed at how it is possible that I take some excellent street photos every time I go out. The truth is that similar things are happening in other Warsaw places when I wander and take pictures. I write here about Mokotow (the district where I live and work) and many others, including Bemowo, Wlochy, Wola, Ochota Srodmiescie, or Ursynow. I have no doubts that Warsaw affects my very perceptions. It is bombarding me with new impressions at every turn and corner, regardless of the weather and the season. My dream is to stroll through the capital of Poland’s streets until the end of existence. I know that many issues can prevent me from doing it. The thirst things that appear in my mind are problems with health.
To minimalize risks, I do intermittent fasting and expose my body to coldness by taking cold showers and walking in summer clothes in frigid temperatures. Lastly, I live with my beloved Kamilka, with whom I plan to spend the rest of my life. Thanks to her, my parents, and my friends, I know that I can move mountains and do big things, even though I am very, very small. Still, even little and humble people can do tremendous and mighty things.
