When I came out of the office on the 11th of February, 2025, I asked myself whether I was ready to dive into the cold (it was -7 degrees Celsius).
The answer was that I was not prepared, but I knew I had to do it. And I did it. How did I feel after walking for over 1 hour in the www.adammazek.com t-shirt in such freezing temperatures? I felt like a mix of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in their prime. After all, I was also rucking in such a temperature. I did not write this text on the 11th of February, 2025. I did it over two months later, on the 21st of April, 2025. It was a day when it was really warm outside. For me, it was hot (25 degrees Celsius [77 degrees Fahrenheit] in Brok). I spent the Easter time in Brok.
After returning to the capital of Poland, I did not know what I wanted to write.
That’s how I came across my questions from the previous winter months, which I wrote as an inspiration in my email address. Often, when I do not have anything special to say, I return to my thoughts from the past. When I read it, I realized I simply miss the freezing temperatures, and I somewhat feel insatiable regarding exposing my body to cold during the Fall/Winter season of 2024/2025. Undoubtedly, I was not ready for hot temperatures in April on the same level as I was not ready for walking at -7 degrees Celsius in February 2025.
What I know is that I cannot wait for the next photo walk and rucking, no matter the temperature. A few days ago, when I was walking and rucking in the hot temperatures again, I was sweating tremendously. I think I will write more about this topic during the upcoming summer months, where I anticipate more challenges and experiences to share.
