Today, I will write shortly about my weekend routine.
I have days during weekends when I can devote my spare time almost 100% to my creative passion. What does my routine weekend look like?
Here you are:
1) We (my beloved Kamilka and I) wake up at 10 a.m.;
2) Within the next three hours, we chatted, drank coffee, and read books (I wrote many times that Taschen, the German publishing house, is my favorite. The other choices are British Phaidon and Thames & Hudson);
3) After reading two or three books (since 2017, I have been reading books partially), I go out to do street photography;
4) I do street photography for about two hours;
5) After returning home, I rest, drink coffee and sometimes tea;
6) We clean up the flat;
7) At 7 p.m. or even later, we eat something;
8) Later, I write texts (as this one), schedule new posts to be published on www.adammazek.com in the future, and prepare subsequent “Diaries'” editions;
9) Often in the evening, we collectively listen to music.
I must admit that the weekend, as mentioned above, routine is just a sketch of this routine.
Often, Kamilka and I walk in our surroundings or go to the Kabaty forest. Later, we go to do some shopping. Undoubtedly, like in our lives, there can be many variations of weekends. Each day is different. It’s cliche. Still, it is true. Do I love weekends? Of course I do. Weekends are a moment when one can devote spare time not only to passion but also to beloved ones. I love the weekend rhythm of my life. It is a moment when one can rest from one’s job during working days. I must sleep. It’s Friday, the 10th of March, 2023, and I must sleep to rest for the upcoming great weekend. How happy I am I will spend more or less according to the above plan.
