I boldly say that I like most not to see Beksiński’s, Bosch’s, or Leonardo da Vinci’s paintings. I rarely watch movies. Thus, cinema is also not my favorite thing to watch.
Moreover, there is something that I prefer to watch more than reading and analyzing Taschen’s favorite books. So what do I like to watch the most? Pictures of my own authorship. The fact is because I do it practically every day. There are rarely days when I don’t look at my photos at all. I watch my pictures during adding a new post (like this one) to the www.adammazek.com website. Moreover, I watch my photographs when I add a new work of art for sale on the Artfinder platform. I also like to google my pictures.
My favorite phrase is “Adam Mazek Photography.” After writing the words, I select tags that interest me the most at the moment. The fact is that when I am googling the phrase mentioned above, I often have eyes wide open, and I am congratulating myself. All the pictures that I already had published are boldly magnificent.
I see them in my imagination in Taschen’s future book.
What could be the title of the book? Here are my propositions: “Adam Mazek. Diaries 2017-2050,” “The best of Mazek,” or “Mazek.” Why I proposed the period of 2017-2050? The first year is evident. 2017 was the year when I started my blog. But why did I write 2050? I wrote it because I hope to write “Diaries” even longer than Paul Klee, who wrote his own journals for twenty-one years. That’s why I proposed the 2050 year. If I manage to keep writing “Diaries” for thirty-three years, that will become my true opus magnum. I love going back to my photos. It has recently been happening mainly when designing new issues of “Diaries” and during activities on my profile on the Artfinder website.
Thanks to watching and re-discovering my photos practically all the time, I feel the constant influx of creative joy. I hope that this feeling will remain in my soul even longer than in 2050. I believe that even after 2050, I will like most to watch my own photographs.
