We tend to dream about paradises from the outer world, with the Christian Eden at the forefront. Still, what if we live in the best of all possible worlds?
I do not know if other worlds exist. I suppose it is rather a matter of faith or science-fiction matter. I know that there is a scientific theory stating that perhaps there are infinite numbers of other Universes. Still, for today, there is a lack of evidence. Most of us tend to imagine living in a paradise, a utopia. We imagine we and other people will be eternally happy in such a utopian land, and no one would hurt anyone anyhow. Still, sometimes I ask myself whether we live in the best of all possible worlds. Shouldn’t we just cherish and praise a current moment without daydreaming of paradises full of love?
Do we, in fact, inhabit the best of all conceivable worlds?
The longer I live, the more I try to love mundane reality. Undoubtedly, street photography helps me to do it. I love strolling among the mundane mini worlds of Warsaw without expecting I will move to paradise after my death. I try to be the best possible version of myself here and now without waiting for anything. I want to prove this world is the best place to live by giving my best version. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best things I can do for this beloved world, plus writing and doing street photography.
I want to leave something meaningful behind me, something profound. The truth is that I believe forgetting about other worlds and focusing on what we have here and now is the fundamental step in development. Please do not wait for better worlds, my Dear Friend, because they may never appear. Enough writing for today. Good night.
