I am most dissatisfied with the three-part set called “Trees.”
Today (I wrote this text on the 5th of June, 2023), I see some photos there that I would not have published. At the same time, I know there were more suitable photos for publication. Why did I not include them in the “Trees” sets? It is because I discovered many of my old pictures throughout the years. However, when writing about it, I see a big plus in the “Trees” set. If I had not published it, the work “Inspired by Tolkien” would certainly not have been created. I think that we can see my creative process while analyzing pictures presented in the three-part set “Trees” and “Inspired by Tolkien.”
As I wrote at the beginning of this text, I see in the “Trees” set many pictures that I would name one of my worst from all published in all my sets images (starting on the “Farewell” and “Negation Of The End” and ending on “Big Brother,” “Road To Nowhere,” and “Transience” [The last one, for today, still unpublished. Still, it is in a final stage]).
Probably, I simply chose quantity over quality. On the other hand, while preparing the “Inspired By Tolkien” collection of pictures, I remember that I thought some of the images presented in the “Trees” set could excellently match the “Inspired By Tolkien.”). While writing about all these things, I started to wonder what will be my following sets of pictures with trees as a main hero. For today, I do not know it. Perhaps it will be a spark of vision in my imagination that will provide me an incentive. The truth is that there are many trees in the “Death” set of pictures and “Transience.” Does that mean I am dissatisfied with the three-part set called “Trees?” No. I see potential in this collection that I may develop in the future.
