I often ask myself if I like sun rays. The answer depends on my mood and the season.
If there is a hot, burning sun in the middle of June, I do not like to be exposed to the scorching sun rays. On the other hand, if there is cold, cloudy weather in the middle of October or November, I usually miss the sun rays. But which sun rays are the most magical ones? The most magical sun rays are the ones that are reflecting through the Moon during a Moonlight. I have magnificent possibilities to experience Moonlight while staying in my beloved Brok at night.
The fact is that the Moon shines because it is reflecting the sun’s rays.
I love to contemplate the Moon while taking a night walk to the White Forest (Puszcza Biala). The fact is that it can take up to twenty minutes of walking from my home in Brok to observe the night sky, without the disruption of city lights. By doing it, I can watch a moonlight and, especially during summer August’s nights, perseids. I love the darkness of White Forest situated in Brok in composition with a night, starry sky. The fact is that I like to expose my face to the sun rays reflected in the Moon. During Moonlight, the forest surroundings are bright. Indeed, it is a time when we can walk through the forest without a flashlight. Am I scared during such walks? No, because last time I made these kinds of walkings, I was with my beloved Kamilka.
I could not be afraid.
When I imagine this moonlight scenery in Brok, I often hear deep in my mind the “Of Wolf And Man” song, performed by Metallica. Indeed, exposing myself to sun rays reflected in the Moon is one of the most magical and eternal experiences that humans can experience. It is a time when we can feel the unity with the Cosmos.
