Lyrics of one of the most magical The Beatles’ songs (“While My Guitar Gently Weeps”) inspired me to write this post.
I wrote this text on the 27th of May, 2023. It was a day when I was listening to Georg Harrisson’s voice in the “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” tune. While listening to the song, I started to sing my own lyrics.
Here they are:
I look at you all and see potential there that’s sleeping
While my camera gently clicks
I look at the wall, and I see it needs cleaning
Still, my camera gently clicks.
I believe we all have potential deep in ourselves. Some of us managed to find it, evoke and polish it. Unfortunately, in most humans, this potential is, indeed, sleeping. Some people will never find talent in themselves throughout all the years of their lives. I do not want to be one of them. I want to be like George Harrison and John Lennon, who developed their talents to one of the most outstanding possible levels. My potential is doing street photography, writing texts in a foreign language (please, remember, I am a Pole), and preparing subsequent “Diaries'” editions and sets of pictures like “Negation Of The End” and “Transience.”
The truth is that with every photo taken, I hear my camera gently click.
I love this moment. While taking a picture, I often wonder whether this photo would be one of the best images ever taken. Frequently, while walking and taking pictures, I hum the Beatles’ song mentioned above. This song provides me inspiration and stimuli for everything I believe in. I will finish writing this text because I want to sleep. Before I do it, I will listen to my YouTube Mix of songs. Undoubtedly, one of the first will be the “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” tune. I must admit that it is a pleasing experience to sleep with the Beatle’s guitar gently weeping and imagining my camera gently clicking.
