Today (I wrote this text on the 23rd of December, 2022), I won’t answer the question of who is crazy.
In today’s text, I will raise some inquiries:
1) Who is crazy? Those who expose their bodies to cold or avoid coldness as much as possible?
2) Who is crazy? Those who do intermittent fasting or those who eat almost all the time?
3) Who is crazy? Those who do work out or those who are lazy?
What do these questions have in common? Every activity from the questions is connected with stressing one’s body. The facts are that:
a) contact with a cold is a stressor for a human;
b) avoiding eating is also a stressor for human bodies;
c) physical activity also stresses the body (after all, muscles grow during sleep, not during exercises.)
I was inspired to write this text while walking on Warsaw’s streets today.
It was 6 degrees Celsius (42.8 degrees Fahrenheit). Still, it was drizzling all the time. There was also snow still lying on the ground. I walked for two hours in summer clothes without a winter cap and gloves. I got soaked very much. People were staring at me in disbelief. They could not imagine how it is possible to walk in such weather without any coat or warm clothes. I saw amazement in their eyes. I suppose many of them thought I got crazy.
Still, I started asking myself questions from this text’s beginning.
I have no doubts that to feel better, have more energy, and have better health; it is good to stress one’s body by exposure to cold, fasting, and exercise. The truth is that I proved all these things to myself many times. I practice all these things and write about them here on the www.adammazek.com blog. I want to share my experience with you, my Dear Friend, and inspire you so that you can remain in a good mood and proper health. Ask yourself a titled question.
